I'm now aboard the very first Enterprise starship in what can only be described as yet another temporal mishap. And to think I got here by running into some irritable Jem'Haddar and almost getting blasted to parmesan

::passes by on her way to have a quick bite, nods at the new person on board. Continues on and sits by next table. By now she is used to visitors popping onto and off the Enterprise, it probably wouldn't phase her to pass by Jonny Depp, an actor from around the year 2000. She'd drool at his feet but his presence wouldn't phase her::

*Benjamin pauses in his studies to think and finish off the last of his coffee before it goes cold. A female crew member at the next table catches his eye. He's seen her around a couple of times since coming onboard, and he's certain he's seen her dossier in the files he's studying. He decides to test his knowledge*

Crewman ... Cutler, right?

That's right sir, Liz Cutler. I noticed you on the hangar deck when we came back from the O'Neill but was needed in sickbay. I haven't heard who you are yet, or from what time period. If you don't mind telling me more about you, I like getting to know people.

*Benjamin tests out the crewman's name out loud so he can remember it*

Liz Culter ... nice to meet you. I'm Benjamin Sisko. I'm from a few hundred years in the future, where I serve as the captain of a space station called Deep Space Nine.

*sips the room-temperature coffee thoughtfully*

I still haven't met the captain yet, as he was already kidnapped by the time I came aboard. now that he's back, I thought I'd do my research on current events before I meet him.

*pauses*

So, what's this about a "Plot Implausibility" field?

(ooc: Jadzia was still alive in this Ben's timeline, so he hasn't met Ezri. Complicated, I know.)
