I am back from moving my close friend
chinook_wind from Tennesse to Idaho.
Flew down last Tuesday (the 13th) via Delta Airlines and continental. Delta has decided to use tiny, tiny planes for flights out of Boise, and for flights from Salt Lake to Houston. But tiny airplanes with no head room are nothing compared to the horror of the Bush International airport in Houston. What a dreadful airport. The tram between terminals is geriatric, the restaurants are terrible, and the waiting area for Continental airlines feels more like a bus terminal. Continental then changed my gate four times during my layover. This included running from one wing of the terminal to the next.
But I made it to Chattanooga safe and on time. Chattanooga was great. The city is very forested, has pleasant pedestrian areas and is going through a strong economic boom. I really liked it, and can really understand why
chinook_wind spent so much time there.
The trip took 3.5 days and I won't go into a detailed log. Just a few hits of the good and the bad.

So definitely more good than bad. In addition I have a very interesting Blue Rose campaign idea that will require some advanced role playing.
I won't be doing a cross country drive again any time soon, but if I do I know that
chinook_wind makes an awesome travelling companion.
