My departing flight to Las Vegas lifts off exactly one and a half hours after I get off from working a nine-hour 5 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. shift. Production starts an hour early today, which means I do too. One should never have to get out of bed at 3:45 in the morning. It just isn't right. It's going to take a steady flow of caffeine to keep me going past 8:00 tonight.
