The Faust myth is a wonderfully adaptable thing; the central engine that keeps the plot in motion, the "power of the irrevocable act", the deal with the devil, can be applied to many, many situations. So the prospect of a combination of Dr Faustus's story with that of artists Jake & Dinos Chapman was certainly less implausible, than, say, Tristan ( Read more... )

perspective switches suddenly...crashing 50 ft down onto the top of the table.

i wish you could have seen the perspective they used (for the entire play) in the metamorphosis.

it was sort of like watching a play like this.
