It was delightful to be able to attend, and the ceremony had so many special notes to it. My favorite was the giving/receipt of the livery cloth. I think more peers should maintain their dependents in like manner! :)

Thank you for writing all of this up, and Congratulations on your new family member! I am thinking of taking another apprentice soon, and you have provided me with good inspiration!

I note that you have the Year and a day in your contract. Do you actually do something on the year and a day 'anniversary' to mark the continuation, or do you just let it roll over?
