Motivated from inspiration I slowly sit down in front of the keyboard to write out what I've been dying to let go of for years...but then it happens. I get caught up in the comfort of helping others, and my emotions return to their hiding spots deep within my shadowed heart. A wise man once said...well that would've been a good idea for a start if I knew what a wise man once said. I don't. I think you'll find a lot of people the same way. The "Why me" question must've rooted itself deep in the collective unconscious, because it seems that question is asked a lot. For those that are going through hard times, obviously the question is "Why me," because we look at the world and see many people more privelaged than us. And while I suspect there is some merit to the question, I'll bet our viewpoints are rather limited. After all, unless you're psychic or just damn lucky, you'll never really know what goes on in someone else's life ( ... )
