In regards to Light's post, I just want to clear something up.
As Sokka said, fire-bending is mostly controlled by emotion. Anger and frustration tend to cause accidents if one doesn't concentrate hard enough to control it. All bending works that way. Even my water-bending. Zuko did it on accident and feels remorse about it.
