My friends taught me some very interesting things tonight! There are so many things I've learned just in the past few hours, I'm not sure that I'm going to be able to remember them all to list them here. But, I think I can manage to hit the high points

I made the post right after I got home from it. I had been hanging out with some friends (query, what qualifies someone as a friend) who became incensed about my political views. I must stress that I did not bring up or intend to talk about politics in any way whatsoever. Instead, I was telling a story about something funny that happened to me while waiting in line on Election Day 2004. My friends interrupted my story to ask me for whom I voted. When I told them, they were shocked and demanded reasons, and my reasons didn't help matters. It was all downhill from there. While they didn't exactly say word-for-word what I have attributed to them, all of the points I listed follow as a matter of simple logic from other statements they made.

Well of course they were right and you were wrong. I mean after all, you come up with your own political views while they gets their's from Kanyeezee. Honestly, what were you thinking challenging the viewpoint of a producer-turned-rapper. That kind of behavior could foster more independent thought. You best get back in line boy!

Oh, to give you a little more information: it was two of those Ukrainian girls (well, at least one of them was Ukrainian), on the night I went to go see that British band in Philly when you were going to Wames's birthday party.
