Q: Are you a guy or a girl?
A: I'm a guy. This is why I invite people to call me "Ben". I can understand if the slash confuses you.
Q: Are you British?
A: Maybe someday.
Q: Can I friend your journal?
A: Sure! This thing is almost entirely fic, so I really like it when people friend me.
Q: Do you have an AO3 or ff.net account?
A: I have an
AO3 account.

Yay for the AO3! I know the reasoning behind why everyone seems to hate ff.net but I've never really had much of a problem with it. Though maybe that's because I navigate from rec lists and favorites....
Also, thought you might like to know, I don't consciously choose to read WIPs. (I've been burned too many times from fics that don't finish). The few times I've broken this rule, I'll read what's posted, forget about it for a while, remember months later and catch up (repeat as necessary). I am reading your fic chapter by chapter, as soon as it is posted.
Can't wait for more and thank you for sharing with us!

FF.net wasn't much of an issue for reading, but there came a point in attempting to upload things where, no matter what I tried, all of my quotation marks were removed from my works. I have something of a temper and having people messaging to tell me how much better my work would be with quotation marks around the dialogue, well. I was pissed off for a serious stretch of time. And that is why I am no longer on FF.net.
With luck, Stranger at the Gate will be fully uploaded in about a week and the last chapter of Elsewhere Come Morning a reasonable amount of time afterwards. I can totally understand avoiding WIPs.

Ah yeah, the punctuation problem. I've heard about it but wasn't thinking about that. Very good reason to drop ff.net like a poisonous crawly thing.
No worries about posting. From looking at your past work I wasn't really concerned about any chronic WIPs, I just wanted to point out that I have neither been able to wait until it's finished to start reading, nor have I been able to distract myself enough to forget to check on a daily basis. Both extremely high compliments alone, but together? Woah.
