A beautiful, satisfying ending to this lovely AU. It hurts a bit to know that they have to hide things, but I am so thrilled that Sherlock and John have worked things out and have a future together. And with Sherlock's chops, the inaccurate and offensive nickname of England being "Das Land Ohne Musik" [the land without music] will receive a killing blow.
Thank you Ben; I hope your future is free of small and large fires and lighting securely connected to ceilings.

I really hope so too, thank you.

I'm so happy everything worked out. The updates have been a highlight of each week; I suppose I'll miss that. This fic is just splendid. If I had to choose one fic to turn into a physical book, this would be it. Hell, it makes me want to learn how to make a book, so that I could make it into one. Thank you for all the work you've put into sharing this story with us.

Thank you! Just to let you know for terms of comparison, this is slightly shorter in length than Return of the King, so I wouldn't advise actually making it into a book unless you're really, really fond of bookmaking.
I'll still be posting other fic weekly though, at least until August.

I feel very stupid, but I didn't quite understand the Clarence and Henrietta reference, and what it has to do with Sherlock and John's relationship?

Waaaaay back in the chapter with Christmas, John told Sherlock that his sister Harriet had died of love for Clara--Clarence, John meant to say Clarence. Because he's trying to protect Harry's reputation even now. Basically, it was a tribute to John's sister.
