I read the rest of this with my heart in my throat. It's terribly that in the moment of lucidity they both know they should call, otherwise they won't remember...and guess what happens? They don't remember.

And John, really, haven't you figured out why Sherlock wasn't going to bite? Same reason as you want him to.

And despite most of it being Sherlock's blood, Sherlock has bitten John again during the kiss, right? So it's going to be round 2 soon?
