Hello World, There's A Song That We're Singing...

I finally got around to buying a hair straightener on the weekend (next, I'm getting a PS1). It's a Vidal Sasson; I thought I'd leave the GHD till I actually ensure I'll use it. I really can't believe how much difference straightening my hair makes; to quote Lisa Simpson, "I finally look like a real person!". I haven't done it as well as that photo ( Read more... )

I also bought a mint-condition 1970s copy of The Butterfly Ball and the Grasshoppers Feast at Glebe Markets. I'd allow you to touch me but frankly, I don't know where you've been.

What format?

And would you like it digitised? ;)

It's the book. It even has nature notes from the illustators at the back. It could easily be digitised...

I thought you meant scanning the book...the illustrations are gorgeous.

If I found the filmclips, I'd hire somewhere for a screening.

Why do you want a PS1?
I'm sorry, but that is the worst console in my opinion - Worse than Dreamcast!!!!
I owned a PS1, the loading times are shitty and you can skip the cut scenes ((and the games are absolutely terrible, only game I finished was Spyro))...
Get an XBOX 360 or something if you want to game!

It's a Simpsons joke - years after they were obsolete, Homer, upon winning some money, said "We'll finally get a PS1!"

Although I'd like to get a game system, my poor hand-eye co-ordination means it's not a feasabile way to spend time or money for me :(

Im really shit at Guitar Hero... My co-ordination is awful.

I'm glad you're not getting one, they are so shit haha! If you want to play old console games get an emulator. I was a NES & SNES girl back in the day but I'm not paying Nintendo another $15 for 15 year old games on their shitty Wii channel when I can get them free from an emulator! :)

I think I'm better off spending free time at home drawing or knitting or something at least marginally productive and not RSI inducing.

That said if there was a way I could play Doom 2 in my house, I'd burst with happiness.
