I'm harboring one guilty pleasure right now. And that's "Sexy Back." Before you jump all over me, his new album FutureSex / LoveSounds has received critical acclaim (which seems part of a welcome, new-ish trend among indienistas of showing an open mind toward performing artists who are no strangers to the top 40 charts). Actually, Timbaland and Timberlake co-produced most of the album...no Neptunes involved (a good thing for me, I've never liked them very much). Timbaland just seems to have this amazing knack for completely overhauling peoples careers. I generally check out everything he produces just to hear what direction he takes it. Unfortunately this lead me to listen to his new solo album, which was atrocious and absolutely boring as all get out...but I digress...
