RL- IT'S EARTHBENDING TIEM!

The sun had just risen and Toph woke up. Everyone else was still sleeping, including her new student who was snoring a little. She stood up and walked over to him.

"Hey Jordan, wake up," she ordered, nudging him with her foot. "It's time to start your training."

Jordan rolled over and continued to snore like a bear in heavy hibernation. He was never much of a morning person, hence why we always needed at least two cups of espresso to become fully functional.

"Ah ..." he yawned mightily, smacking his lips. "School starts late today ... Zzzzzzz ..."

Toph frowned in annoyance and crossed her arms. She stomped one foot on the ground next to him, causing a spike of earth to shoot up and send him flying into the air.

"You awake now?" she called as he hit the ground.

Jordan screamed and flailed his arms in a pathetic attempt to slow his fall as he landed painfully on his backside, spread eagled. His left foot twitched slightly and the blanket fluttered down to cover his face.

"Ouch ..."

"Great, you're awake! Let's get started, shall we?" she announced, ignoring his moan of pain. "I hope you're ready to work hard today, because we're not stopping until you've become an earthbender."

Her blind eyes were fixed on him and a wide smirk was set on her face. She was looking forward to see if he would pick up on earthbending quicker than Aang had. Either way, she was going to keep him at this all day until earthbending became second nature to him.
