Hehehehe, I love being able to talk about it live!
Heh, me neither! But like now I have to watch it every afternoon otherwise I get grumpy. It's a really fun and interesting game but I prefer international to my home league (at least men's, I find Women's US football incredibly interesting.)
i actually only watch international games - it's so much more fun, somehow. and i've never even watched women's football, huh. maybe i should! ...i only realized a couple of days ago that i can actually watch the games online - it's awesome! i don't have a tv, so i always had to go out to bars & stuff. most of the time it's a lot of fun though - yesterday i was about the only one rooting for côte d'ivoir in a sea of brazil fans. *g*
+ re the other comment: omg, yes! that korean keeper, *winces* the swiss aren't very good either, but at least they have a great goalie... *hugs benaglio*
I wish I knew why I found it more fun... Women's Football is *awesome* they're so hardcore I just kinda sit in admiration.
Yay online! I love how convenient it all is now. Hehehe oh yeah Côte D'ivoir was my favorite as well but I figured they didn't have much of a chance (it was a fun game though, I'm terrible and love it when they get rowdy >>). Actually that does sound like a lot of fun, lots of fans and cheering and group activity and stuff. Always makes something more exciting.
My favorite keeper so far has been the Algerian one, he was like a *wall* during the England/Algeria match. A great goalie should be the cornerstone of the team is my thought and Korean DPR just needs... better. Swiss are awesome though! They have an awesome defense I was surprised Chile managed to break through.
