The Black Swan was amazingly gorgeous, however. :) Ms. Portman was *so fucking thin*, it was a little scary. How does anyone that thin have enough muscle to propel themselves around doing ballet steps? It's baffling.

Black Swan was an interesting movie, I loved the parts that you loved but... The movie explicitly told you what was going to happen and then did it (down to stage directions, which I giggled about a little). In the end I think I came down on the side of liking it just because there were a lot of elements that worked for me (her descent into madness as it were, her creepy mom and I sorta really loved Lily and thought Portman did a beautiful job of protraying Nina). But I'd agree the ending was a bit of a let down after like this massive building up. But at the same time I'm not sure I can think of a more satisfying way it could have ended. How does one resolve that sort of story?
She was super thin. I didn't even really notice until the wardrobe lady was measuring her out and I'm like omg wut? She had to have been *all* muscle to do all that. Sheesh!

I read that the actress that played Lily got hurt doing all the stuff she had to do - i'd probably have curled up and died, heh.

Oh god. I was reading a little about how the actresses had to train for like a year to do that and I'm like, I prefer eating and not being injured. D: Curled up and died indeed.

Yeah I probably will finish it, I was really liking where it was going. Hopefully I can get back into it pretty easily! *finger crossed*
