I love reading other people's lists, returning the favor is the least I can do. I can't believe I didn't think of telling you about Seraphina earlier. Dragons and music!
Did you have better luck finding Georgette Heyer books? I just got some more in the mail, and enjoyed them as much as ever.
I mostly use Goodreads anymore, I really should post a list here more often, because I do so love reading other people's. I get more good recs that way than any other. I just bought Seraphina -- I forgot I had a gift cert at Amazon, and so I'd been going to skip it because of the price for now until I remembered that!

I'm not on goodreads, and I don't often remember to look there for recs, but I had a look at yours yesterday and well, my tbr pile just grew a little higher in consequence.
I'm pretty sure you'll enjoy Seraphina, and Friday's Child is a really funny one I mean to read again.
I'm making note of the books you mention, because historical setting and magic is always a good combination for me.
Je préfère pas, déjà que je suis pas à jour dans mes fiches de lecture, ni dans mes articles de fanzine...je doute de pouvoir respecter une autre deadline...
