Went to the ever beautiful and polluted New Haven bay for some hott fireworks action in celebration of America's Independence, and property rights for all (until the latest imminent domain supreme court decision anyway...)

damn, i was beat to it...but i'll say it anyway, i LOVE that your pop wears suspenders. and yes, i agree about the fireworks, but shouldn't they be swimming the other way? than again, that is one freaky egg...hell, i might swim away too.

Hehe... he's a big fan of those suspenders man. I suppose when I'm old I'll wear them as well, seeing as my grandpa does too.

I think I'd get my ass as far away from that mutant egg as I could manage to propell myself.

There's so many things about the picture of you with your dad that make me happy in different ways. Yall both look like you're doing great and I love the scenery.

By the way, are you holding a beer in that pic? If that is in fact a beer, then you have my vote.

unfortunately not a beer... though I do drink them often enough.
Dad and I are both doing very well. Glad to see that you are alive too... what are you doing this summer? Got a job in the real world yet? Or are you heading to grad school?

Oh no, I still have about 12 more months before I'm going to be finished up here. You can attribute that to 3 major changes in my first 2 years here. I've got 1 year of eligibility left in football, so I couldn't leave early and miss out on that anyway.

I don't see a post graduate degree in my near future though. I'll test the job market waters after this and hopefully land a job near a shore somewhere.
