Mac mini was what Silversun (Matt) recommended. Knowing nothing about PCs in general, my response was that I could afford something fancier if it was in my best interest. And Matt basically said that the Mac would be a good choice regardless of financial considerations.

assuming you're only using it for internet and maybe a little audio or tv here and there, it does all you need and very cheaply.
