Recipe Recommendation
I know, I'm the scone-maker in the family but I thought I would pass along this recipe for Orange Buttermilk Scones. I was afraid it was going to be too many different flavors, what with the orange and the currants and the cinnamon/sugar but I had another one this morning with breakfast and it's definitely growing on me. So I'm posting this early because at 7 this morning Jacob decided (apparently; I'm piecing this together from foggy sleep observations) that he just HAD to get into our bedroom. So he would turn the handle and push the door open a few inches. Then Sammy would yank the door back closed, and Jacob would repeat. Endlessly slamming my bedroom door... ( Read more... ) -

So the good news is, we get to keep living in our house, because we cleaned it sufficiently to satisfy the landlord who was apparently under the (badly mistaken, IOHO) impression that we were trashing his property. Two Jacob things
1) So we were reading last night out of those picture-book BoM stories and quizzing Jacob intermittently as we do to make sure he's paying attention. And at one point we asked him (I think) where the Nephites were gathering to go fight the Lamanites (correct answer : Jershon) and he comes up with, out of nowhere, Nineveh.
