I can't believe they ran out of gas. That's hilarious and dangerous. Jesus, next time you make them check the fuel first. Admittedly it would've looked totally lame to do that this time but you can get away with it now that you are the guy who was left hanging upside down off a bridge when the winch ran out of gas. Respect.
This likely requires quite a bit of strength in the mid-section (abdomen, lower back). Probably wouldn't be easy either, since your legs are tied together.
maybe i could have, in theory, but i am absolutely not certain about it in practice. additionally, i had other concerns: 1) they had instructed me not to try and catch things. admittedly, this was probably just for the way down and no longer help, but i still didn't feel like trying, and 2) in the case when i try and do not succeed, this would have resulted in quite a bit more wild swinging. something i have never been a huge fan of, as you might recall ;)
