so, i have been told this place is growing weeds. in the ~3 months since i last wrote, approximately a million people have added me as a friend, then deleted their accounts ;) (i did visit a few times in the meantime, didn't have to see all of those events at the same time). anyway, the main reason i don't post much is because Facebook is now ( Read more... )

I thin each journal has to have its style...
and maybe your style is having no style.
I don't know if the point is clear, but still

i'll probably never have a real, definite style. it's all just pieces and bits!

by the way, you do pass the turing test, so i would love to communicate a bit more. where can one find more information about you (since your profile doesn't give much)? my guess would be that you are slavic, most likely russian (by some of the minor errors in your writing), either married or in a stable relationship, and employed at an above-average place. how far off am i? ;)

Well you're partly right...
I am definitely not slavic, I am Armenian. The way I found you in LJ was when I was looking for Bulgarian bloggers, since I lived in Bulgaria for 3 years, speak the language and miss the culture.

I am married and yes my job is above-average in all aspects:)

Wish you a nice day.... mine just started

You do leave out important things, as do I. I would like you to talk about important things, because it tells me so much more about who you really are. But writing about important stuff is hard. All that thinking and whatnot!

You omit a lot, which perhaps adds to the intrigue...? I don't know.
Despite you rarely writing, you seem to have changed over the years. Though I guess we all have.

i don't really know that i omit much. mostly just things i would consider irrelevant (which is a lot - 80%? - of my whole life, and people often get angry with me over that, for some unfathomable reason).

as to change - it is inevitable. i have had the luck to find that i sometimes change as i am writing things in here even. but it is the changes that are harder to notice that matter most, i guess...

After being almost forced to, here goes:

A blog is something very personal. What you do with it is a matter that you have to decide for yourself - based on how you feel, what you want to share, and _how_ you want to share - and not based on how other people think you should write in it.

I just write in my blog whenever I feel like it. I try to stay clear of the very personal and serious stuff - because I don't know who reads it and what they'll make of the info. I share as much as I feel comfortable with - even if that means writing nothing for 3 months and then having a silly post about making chocolates.

So just do with your whatever you want to :) And just for the record, you weren't writing that much here from before FB, so don't go using false excuses ;)

blah. "almost forced to" was simply an attempt to get your thoughts on whether you want to hear my thoughts on a specific subject. "would you like to have me talk about something important? " was not about whether i should write those, it was about what exactly i should write about. apparently i am in a mood to give answers and/or write long-ish entries, so there. i just need ideas ;)

Ideas (or, stuff I usually want to know about people):

- changes in living arrangements (switching apartments, etc.)
- changes in relationship status
- changes in work
- trips taken & travel plans
- anything that moves them to actually sit down and write a blog entry (if it's important enough to write about it's important enough to want to know it - as I'm sure you won't write about, for example, how long it took you to iron your shirt in the morning)

is that a comprehensive enough list :)
