1. Who was your first prom date?
I never went to prom, because I was a big, fat nerd
2. Who was your first roommate?
Her name was Shelia. She was older than me, and she was considerably cooler than I was.
3. What alcoholic beverage did you drink when you got drunk the first time?
When I got drunk the first time or my first drink ever? My first drink ever was probably a wine cooler. My first drunk was the disgusting college concoction of berry blue kool aid and blue maui schnapps on my 21st birthday.
4. What was your first job?
My brother-in-law was the administrator and my sister the HR goddess of a nursing home in Glenwood, Iowa. I got a job working in the laundry room when I was 18. It was miserable, and really hard work, but it was character-building. I don't regret doing it at all
5. What was your first car?
1988 Toyota Corolla.
6. When did you go to your first funeral?
My dad's funeral in 1984 when I was 13.
7. How old were you when you first moved away from your hometown?
18, when I left for college
8. Who was your first grade teacher?
Mrs. Flynn. She's the one who insisted that I go through all of the gifted kid testing stuff. I remember she had a Dorothy Hamill haircut and wore skirts a lot.
9. Where did you go on your first ride on an airplane?
In the summer of 1987 I flew from Des Moines, Iowa to Portland, Oregon .
10. When you snuck out of your house for the first time, who was it with?
I attempted ONE time to sneak out of the house, and came home to my mother standing in the kitchen, glaring at me. I was the youngest of 8 kids--there was no way I could get away with ANYTHING.
11. Who was your first Best Friend and are you still friends with them?
In elementary school, my best friend was Amy Doggett. When I moved at age 11, my new best friend was Ginger Peer. I haven 't spoken to her in maybe 7 years. I've recently started talking again to one of my very good high school/college friends, and that makes me very happy :)
12. Where did you live the first time you moved out of your parents house?

13. Who is the first person you call when you have a bad day?
I will IM disturbingdream and/or misquoted Cause I know 9 times out of 10 that they will understand and be able to relate.
14. Who's wedding were you in the first time you were a bridesmaid or a groomsman?
I was a bridesmade for the afore-mentioned best friend Ginger in, uh, 1989? 1990? I can't remember now. Her marriage lasted about 3 years.

Put on my glasses

INXS when I was 17. Michael Hutchence was so purty
17. First tattoo or piercing??
I got my ears pierced when I was 14 and then discovered that I was allergic to metal. Hooray!

Tom Cruise (gag) or Simon LeBon from Duran Duran :)
