I know I don't update very often so I think it's past time to mention my latest project. Last year I wrote a short story as part of a friendly competition. It was fun and the story turned out interesting so I made a New Year's resolution that I would start writing this year. Hardly surprising since so many of us have writing aspirations. Well,

Well done! Regularity is the only way to go. Also, all writing is hopelessly derivative. All of it. The best we can hope to do is to add some small part of ourselves.
