I mostly agree with your novel choices, except that I haven't read Leviathan and now feel an obligation.

I really enjoyed Leviathan. I thought the combination of Westerfeld's writing with the artwork made for a great read.
Regarding Abercrombie, I don't think BSC is his best book, but it would be nice if he had a higher profile among the voters.

That's how I felt about The Price of Spring -- a good book, but a step down from An Autumn War.

Thanks Stubby and I'm afraid not. :( It would be nice to visit Australia, but it won't happen this year. I'm planning to go to Reno in 2011 though.
