Do you find that your choice of reading material changed at all for your recovery period? I remember after having surgery one time I only wanted to read Tom Clancy and Ernest Hemingway for the entire six weeks I was at home. All my usual favorites just didn't appeal. But as soon as I recovered it was back to the regular reading routine.
No, I pretty much stuck with the books I brought to Dad's house. It's possible though I didn't enjoy them as much as I might have, but I put that down to general reading malaise. I did have to change my choice of reading material when I was in the hospital because the current book at the time was a hardcover and that wouldn't be as easy to handle as a paperback.
