I got the processor part of my implant yesterday and hooked it up.  First, there was kind of a hearing test with the implant hooked up to a computer.  Then we programmed it and turned it on.  I'm not really able to describe the "noise" I can hear.  Let's just say I can hear stuff, though not sounds as they really are.  Had some problems right off ( Read more... )

A remote control? I hope you don`t have any neighbours with garage doors on the same frequency. :p

Sounds like there'll be some tweaking to get it right, but overall it's to the good. :)

Hah! Actually, none of my neighbors have a garage; it's all parking lots. I wonder if I can get up to other mischief though. :P

Hope everything gets worked out soon and that it sounds great afterwards!
