I am currently inconvenienced by my studies. Will resume normal contact with humans in a few days.

Experiment went well. I'm finally living the dream of being a scientist - of sorts. Given, the experiment was on a severe budget, I didn't control for enough variables and was left with more questions than answers...but I'm living my dream.

All deficient social skills with none of the academic knack. Argh.

Well. I might be in trouble...then again I might not. There just doesn't seem to be time enough to do homework these days. This becomes particularly ridiculous when one realizes that part of the reason this is so is because the professors make it so difficult to access work this semester! Halloween weekend did not go as planned. The purchase of "Film Noir" costumes wasn't a total waste, because Willie and I did look pretty badass in them...but we couldn't get out of my room really due to existential angst. Had to make some sacrifices to my schedule, but I got everything in. Almost all of it on time too. Phew. I've some friends who are rocket scientists with objections to a space elevator. Mostly, they're concerned with the elevator cable acting like a ridiculous lightning rod thru the ionosphere or something like that. I don't understand these things because I'm just a sci-fi geek/archeologist, not a physicist. Can anyone elaborate on this? Thanks.
