Awesome! I'd definitely start with "The Cheese Monkeys" and "The Learners" (in that order) by Chip Kidd.
I also read in your journal that you like Augusten Burroughs. I wasn't a big fan of "Running with Scissors" but I couldn't put "A Wolf at the Table" down. That memoir was freaking nuts!
I've actually read that Sedaris collection but I wasn't a big fan. I like things that are a bit more otherworldly. I guess when I'm reading authors like Burroughs and Sedaris my subconscious is too busy thinking "this really happened!" I love me some fiction.

Like Science fiction? Try Spin by Robert Charles Wilson.
Barbara Gowdy is a wonderful author. Favorites include The Romantic & We So Seldom Look On Love(Short Stories)
Dress Your Family In Corduroy and Denim by David Sedaris is a good read. Also a book of short stories.
