I'm going to Hannover in a fortnight ... not entirely sure why, but decided a holiday was necessary, and needed to go before E starts new job, and there wasn't many places I could go to with airmiles - I haven't been to Hannover and the name sounds good. Hanover is in the West, not been there. If you can get to Berlin, do go. I have goof memories, even if the teacher at the time made me use a wheelchair.....I think I went there while I lived in Jena, too. Anyway, definitely worth making the effort to get there....
