I really have enjoyed hearing your thoughts on scripture here recently. :)Keep on keepin' on! :)LOL

Your first couple comments were especially interesting.

It IS amazing that verse 3 says they are WILLINGLY ignorant.

This reminds me of II Thess. 2: 10-12 where it indicates that their having "pleasure in unrighteousness" keeps them from believing the truth...and where God causes them to be in "delusion", believing a LIE...

I think that most Christians would agree with me when I list some of these attributes of God:

Wisdom: “Wisdom is the ability to devise perfect ends and to achieve these ends by the most perfect means.” In other words, God makes no mistakes.

Infinitude: God knows no boundaries. He is without measure. This attribute by definition impacts all of the others. Since God is infinite, everything else about Him must also be infinite.

Omniscience: “God possesses perfect knowledge and therefore has no need to learn. God has never learned and cannot learn.” Omniscience means all-knowing. God knows everything, and His knowledge is infinite. It is impossible to hide anything from God.

Omnipotence: Literally this word means all-powerful. Since God is infinite and since He possesses power, He possesses infinite power.

Now my question to you is this:

If God really is all these things, then HOW can anything you do *not* be His plan ( ... )

The picture that you present only stirs one's emotions when you lose sight of who God really is and you assign him human characteristics.

According to the Bible, God knew you and all your paths before you were even born.

Being an all-powerful creator, God can assign you whatever attibutes he desires during your creation process. For example, he could make you only have one leg. Or he could make you blind. But more than this, he assigns you many other intricate attributes outside of the physical sense. For example, the Bible says that God deals every man a different measure of faith (Romans 12:3).

Combine this with the idea of an all-wise creator who makes no mistakes, and you get a giant, in-escapable puppet show called life.

For BEN

As I mentioned before, I enjoyed your Bible comments here! I'd love to hear your thoughts on Is. 58:13-14 sometime, too! :)
