Right, "The Dresden Files" has failed to grab me. It's a shame, I really want to support DarkCon players and their efforts, but I gave it two episodes. I thought, after the first, that there were some interesting ideas, and it might get better, but get better it would have to do, and get better it did not. The previews for next week's Silverman (they were showing rather a lot during Groundhog Day this morning) look to maintain quite well. I am more optimistic than I probably should be.

Hardware is Friday evenings - I think at 8, but two months with a DVR and I don't know my own TV schedule any more. Black Books was on immediately after, but now appears to be on at 4AM on whichever night BBCA feels like having it on.

I thought the second Dresden plot was cleverly conceived, but horribly executed. I'm not passing judgement on Harry himself, because I recognise that he's not a character I'm going to like immediately independent of the acting, but every conversation has me wanting to smack somebody around, and it's usually the writers.

Dresden files! As a TV-series?? What? Why are americans the only people who get such things?? Unfair!

Well, if you don't like the TV-version, read the books, they ARE good.
