I wrote VM fic! The concept of Logan's 'feelings journal' was just too sweet to pass up so here we are.

Title: Excerpts from Logan's feelings journal
Author: Bennet
Characters: Logan, Ms James
Word Count: 1000
Rating: PG-13 to be safe
Summary: Logan is forced to write a 'feelings journal' which Ms James reads and comments on.

Warnings: This is fairly cracked.

Feelings Journal of Logan Echolls

I feel that this is a waste of my time.

Logan we agreed to this compromise. You don’t have to ‘talk’ about what you’re going through but you do have to write me something about it. Otherwise, they’ll revoke your emancipation.

Feelings Journal of Logan Echolls

I feel that my issues and self-esteem problems stem from my troubled relationship with my father, my mother’s abandonment of me and the fact that everyone thinks that I’m a murderer. Having acknowledged and accepted this, I can now heal and grow as a person (I reserve the right to accept Jesus Christ as my personal saviour at some point in the future should I feel so inclined).

Thank you Ms James for all your help. My autobiography Darkness in the Limelight: The story of Logan Echolls (to be published by Harper Collins) will be dedicated to you.

Very funny Logan. Do you want me to get Moorehead to force you to come to counselling sessions?

Feelings Journal of Logan Echolls

I feel that ‘Moorehead’ is the most ridiculous name I’ve ever heard. Have you ever thought of giving him grief for it in the teacher’s lounge?

I really hope that ‘giving him grief’ is not a euphemism for something else.

Feelings Journal of Logan Echolls

I feel sad because Veronica Mars has been picking on me. Can you give her detention or something?

Have you and Veronica discussed your issues since your break up Logan? It could really help both of you. And no, I will not give her detention.

Feelings Journal of Logan Echolls

I feel terrible.

Showing up drunk to the Home Coming Dance will do that to you. I think we need to have a chat about some of your habits.

Feelings Journal of Logan Echolls

I feel so safe knowing that Sheriff Lamb is out there, watching over us. Well done voters.

Logan, you’ve just been re-arrested and your house has burnt down. Don’t you want to talk about that?

Feelings Journal of Logan Echolls

I feel that the walls of the presidential suite of the Neptune Grand are too thin. Also, their room service is appalling. I ordered foie gras this morning and it took them over an hour to get it to me.

Are you finding it difficult to re-connect with Duncan? I’m guessing there is still a lot tension between you. And who orders foie gras for breakfast?

Feelings Journal of Logan Echolls

I feel pretty.

I’m not touching that one.

Feelings Journal of Logan Echolls

I feel a great sense of shame for my generation. I despise how materialistic we are, only concerned with cosmetic interests and our own pleasure.

I have a t-shirt with Che Guevara on it that I can lend to you.

Feelings Journal of Logan Echolls

I feel that Jensen Ackles is probably the best choice to play me in The Aaron Echolls Story.

That would just be weird.

Feelings Journal of Logan Echolls

I feel full of Christmas joy. God bless us everyone!

Merry Christmas, Logan. Stay out of trouble please.

Feelings Journal of Logan Echolls

I feel sad. I didn’t get picked to run the FBLA booth for the Winter Carnival. I could use a hug. Would you care to oblige?

No.

Feelings Journal of Logan Echolls

I feel like I’ve got a cavity. Too much sugar at the Winter Carnival, no doubt.

I’m surprised you went but good on you for getting involved with school functions.

Feelings Journal of Logan Echolls

I feel that Derek and Meredith were a much better couple than Derek and Addison are. I mean, I like Addison (she’s pretty cool) but their marriage is such a sham. He’s clearly still in love with Meredith.

Word.

Feelings Journal of Logan Echolls

I feel like I’ll never be able to play Monopoly ever again.

That’s random. Even for you.

Feelings Journal of Logan Echolls

I feel that I’m not really suited to public service. There is too much serving of the public.

I was really proud of you for winning the competition. Don’t doubt yourself Logan!

Feelings Journal of Logan Echolls

I feel that you should stop buying those “Platitude-a-day” calendars each year.

Ha ha.

Feelings Journal of Logan Echolls

I feel that there’s something not quite right with Woody.

Yeah I didn’t think the facelift was a good idea either.

Feelings Journal of Logan Echolls

I feel that creepiness in the Goodman family is genetic. I’d like to be moved from any and all classes I share with Gia.

Logan, there’s less than a term of school left. I’m not changing your schedule.

Feelings Journal of Logan Echolls

I feel that it would help me gain a greater understanding of her character and help me to resolve a lot of the issues I have with her, if you were to tell me what you’ve been discussing in your sessions with Veronica. Don’t you want to help me grow as a person?

Are you concerned for Veronica, Logan? If so, why don’t you try talking to her?

Feelings Journal of Logan Echolls

I feel that trying to talk to Veronica is a waste of time.

Try talking to her nicely Logan.

Feelings Journal of Logan Echolls

I feel sorry for Suri Cruise and Moses Martin. My father may be a murdering psychopath and my mother a flake, but at least they didn’t give me some weird name.

It makes me so happy to hear you voice your sympathy Logan. You’re making real progress.

Feelings Journal of Logan Echolls

I feel that as this year draws to a close, this exercise is no longer necessary. It has been beneficial on many levels as I feel like I’ve gotten to know my special, secret, inner self. I’ll always carry these fond memories of our times together but all good things must come to an end. What do you say Ms J? Time to call it quits?

No. Be in my office next Monday.
