Did you know that if have a gmail account and you write the words "are attached" somewhere in an email but you don't actually attach anything and then press send, a little box will appear to warn you about what you've done?

I mean, on the one hand that's really convenient for those times you forget, but on the other...

...SKYNET.

internets, wtf?

It IS helpful - nothing makes you feel more like a dolt than when you forget to attach something and you need to send a second email - but it's very creepy.

Heee... Well, I do sometimes think about the possibility of News Corp or some other not overly scrupulous mega-corporation buying Google and not only having access to allll that information but making use of it. The text of this comment will be sent to my gmail account if you reply so *waves* Hi, Rupert. :)

Oh, and I've seen The Night Circus a few places now but I didn't know if it was any good, so I appreciate the rec. That enemies/lovers thing has piqued my interest!

I was so busy fearing the day my email account rises up against me I didn't even think of that! Gah!

Ooh, yes, The Night Circus was unexpectedly good. I will definitely be up for discussion if you do decide to read it.
