In all honesty, though: As absent as I am, and as little actual repartee occurs between us, you're usually the one from whom I can expect a symbolic cranium-thwap to get my ass back to LJ. And for that, I'm immensely grateful. If it weren't you and the other few flisters who constantly encourage me to return here, this journal would have dried up months ago.

Also, you're such an ardent H/G shipper that, whenever I feel myself slipping out of fandom, it's you and a very small number of others who reel me back in. Curse ye!

Fandom's something that keeps me feeling young and less careworn. In essence, it makes me feel my years. Damn, I hate being an old soul sometimes.

So yeah, you help to give me back my youth when I can't see it anywhere near.

What's not to like? Well, apart from the strange obsession with diminutive Gaels. But still, though you completely spurn the far more strapping and statuesque manner of Celt (read: me), I can't help but adore the fact that someone, somewhere, is as gifted as you and keeps me around. It makes me happy inside, in a very deep and sequestered place that, though not easily accessible for me at times, is impossible to plunder.
