so i am going to western for music next year and i dont want to do it. i dont want to go to college at all, im thinking. why do all that work just to be a zombie for the rest of my life?
The Blue sky opens out farther and farther, the daily sense of failure goes away, the damage I have done to myself fades, a million suns come forward with light, when I sit firmly in that world.
ben, i feel that mostly any path taken in life can seem monotonous and draining, whether it be attending school (which generally seems to be worthless to someone who is a part of it), or fishing until there are no fish left on earth. its really easy to forget that there are hundreds of other options beyond the mundane routine of daily life, which it seems we are forced to be a part of. so keep your head up, and do what is really important to you. not easy.
excellent advice - i dont know whats important to me though. i hope i find it while i play guitar though, cause thats what im going to be doing a lot of.
