because, as I see it, Leonard Choen's version was brilliant, Rufus Wainwrights was better than that even, and Jeff's version is kind of crappy.
not the best sound quality for something that comes from such a highly reguarded album, ad not the best vocals I've heard in my life.
maybe I'm missing something. lol.
he seems to be huge and I just don't get it
sometime I think it's only because he's dead, "Grace" was just barely sold enough copies to pay the record label back for it's recording, yet when he died, it's sales went through the roof.
Kind of like Elliott Smith, that man was brilliant but most folks couldn't give two shits about him until he shoved a knife in his heart, and now his records are flying off the shelves like it's the new Jessica Simpson CD.
