so this is the new year. 2003 was a year of change for me and many people that i know. it may not have been the most comfortable time, but i feel that all of the pain and adjustment serves a purpose. in effect, i hope that those things which were difficult for us in 2003, will see through to their happy resolve in '04.

and it's thanks in part to my parents, but mostly to my lovely girlfriend ashley.

i am in pickwick right now visiting family. i'll be here till friday, then i'm off to alabama with the most wonderfullest girl in the world. i'll be back to the m-town sometime on saturday. i've been drinking single-malt scotch and eating gumbo. we're making beef tenderloin for dinner, and i'm loving it. total holiday laziness ( Read more... )

HOLY FUCK THE LAST SAMURAI WAS SO FUCKING GOOD!

going to get sushi at pacific rim, then off to see the last samurai. then maybe, just maybe go to a party afterwards

everyone did a great job... however, we ruled at sucking. but it was fun anyways. ah well...c'est la vie. had a very poignant conversation with someone today, it feels good to have everything from my side laid out on the table. time will tell if i'm fooling myself or no.
