Cool stuff
Wow I never post anymore do I? Anyway, I made a series of animated desktops and I think I really outdid myself with the last one. (Linux only for now, though I'm considering porting them to Windows if anyone really wants them). Pics under the cut.
Also, two job fairs this week. Wish me luck.
Downloads images from webcams and displays them every twenty minutes or so. Kind of cool to see the weather change and the sun go up and down. For instance it's morning in Japan, and snowing in Washington. I wrote this one as a demo for my programming class. Click to enlarge.

This is my current favorite. It takes random excerpts from ebooks and displays them, changing the 'page' every once in a while. I may still tweak this one a little to get more of a papery texture on the pages.
