so today was probably the hardest meeting of my life. on 4 hours of sleep, no less. we're trying to get very sizable contract to put together a multi-player server system...lots of money, something with 6 or 7 figures, is at stake, and so the VPE of our potential client grilled us for 5 hours on the rationale for all of our architectural choices.

nah, i'd say the rate of my cd consumerism is about normal, no increase this last quarter. but i'm planning to get a couple more soon, cuz i still haven't gotten that latest ash cd yet, and there's a new elliott smith out. and jimmy eat world, but i think i'm going to have to check that one out on a listening station first.

i think i told you i got the faint's latest. alex loves it. otherwise, unless you want a bunch of cure and social distortion cds, i don't have much new to offer. on the other hand, alex picked up elliott smith, black heart procession, pinback, tvotr's previous lp (with pixie's cover), and some slowcore i can't name at the moment. and ordered two more.
