So, because I have a very, very messed-up life, I have written a tiny snippet.

(In my mind, these two things are clearly connected.  No guarantee for anyone else.)

Title: Between Times
Characters: Simon, Natalia
Rating: T?
Summary: In which Simon and Natalia discuss marriage and irritate each other.
Notes:  Okay, this one takes place in about 1990.  ( Read more... )

Well, in the spirit of your disclaimer about writing it fast and having been up for 19 hours: I've now been up for 23 hours (after about 4 hours of sleep the night before), but...

I like it!

Nat and Simon are kind of a weird couple, because on one hand, it's very hard to imagine them together, but on the other, it's very hard to imagine them with anyone else. They're just destined to reluctantly tolerate each other :-P

Good description. I mean, they are a couple. Not a good couple, mind you, but a sort of reluctantly inevitable couple.

lol this is what makes you not a fan of Simon? Out of all of his insane personality defects, this is the scene that makes you not like him? Well, whatever it takes, I suppose :-D
