Looks like a pretty good lineup. There don't seem to be too many conflicts for you, which must be nice. Personally, I think Saturday looks like shit, but the other three days look pretty good. The only acts I'd even kind of want to see on Saturday are !!! and Loretta Lynn and they're playing the same time. Friday looks great, and I'd have a problem with NoFX & Ray Lamontagne on at the same time. If you have the time & are in the area, I'd recommend catching the end of Primus. They were really good at Fuji a few years ago. They had a cool stage set up & played well.
After seeing this, of course I went over to the Fuji Rock website to check their line ups. They haven't released the times yet, but they've got things divided by days, and so far the three acts I really want to see are on each day. They added Shonen Knife, which is the main one I want to see on Saturday. Hopefully I'll buy my tix next month.
Saturday's a good day for me. I am legitimately excited for Alberta Cross, Donald Glover, and Alison Krauss, and will certainly enjoy myself at Eminem's show, though I won't go so far as to say I am excited for him. The late night sets are pretty likely to fall through, though.
Sunday's my weak day. I love Iron & Wine, like Junip, and like the little bit of Neon Trees I listened to at a friends recommendation, but I don't care for Plant as a soloist and don't give a damn about Widespread Panic, though I will likely catch both to close out the festival.
By the way, there's a lot more. I'm interested in some of them as well, but the only one that really bummed me out was Hesta Prynn. None of the rest was even on my radar, so I just didn't include it.
I'm with them that Saturday is really crappy. They should have spread the love around. The only acts I'd even be mildly interested to see that day are Loretta Lynn and the Scissor Sisters.
So I heard Daft Punk is coming to Las Vegas and there's some kind of outdoor music concert at a racetrack? i've been wondering if I should buy tickets, but I get kind of nervous in crowds and I don't like loud music ... I don't know.
There's always the chance you'll like it in spite of your anxieties but, honestly, I don't think you'd like it, and would probably have a panic attack.
