1. Berb's into Disco and Techno. He's big on Trance, too. His maker likes the last a fair bit and the former two a leetle, but he won't admit it in public ( Read more... )

I've been great/awesome! Better than I've been in months/years.

Yeah I'm technically on FA as "jeffkun", but I've been too busy/lazy to actually enjoy/use it. For the last few months, Clip's been functioning as my editor/agent and been making most/all of the posts/comments.

*sigh* I spent too much after the *last* class, so that and a couple other reasons kept me from attending my second class. :/ BUT I gots my plein air stuff, and there's still good weather to be had, so I'll be coming up soon as the kittencat's all well. *hugstight*

#23 What is Berb's preferred style of dance?

Pop-lock? Sounds like that'd *break* something, man. Berby has no specific fave; you play music, he dance. Though he loves the snuggly aspect of Merenge, so maybe that'd be his fave. ;)

Berb would know. I have no idea. I think there are bigger horn sections in Disco. And bell-bottoms. And scarves.

Techno is actually a gaudy umbrella word from the 80s and 90s that describes music made with synthesizers. Now "techno" prefers to be called "electronica" and encompasses a number of very distinct sub-genres. ishkur.com has a comprehensive chronological guide to "techno" as well as what influenced what. I don't know if the guide is back up yet, though.
