What a great day that was! Shall be many more like it (sans booksale, unfortunately) in the nearish future. Fer shizzle. And next time we'll get Pete a new bone before the cooking commences. He worked for three hours straight on a new ribbone last night.

I'm still pondering the smokiness of the curry. It's a conundrum. Next time I'll follow the recipe rather than dumping stuff in haphazardly. Oh, and I'm thinking lentil soup and homemade bread. And maybe some sort of lasagne something-or-other. And there's a Puerto Rican meal I want to do, too--rice and pigeon peas.

I'm gettin' excited all over again.

Puerto Rican sounds *damn* yummy. I've got a pile of lentils to bring over, and bread? mmmmm...bread. The smell of baking bread is one of the bestest smells in the whole damn world.

I made a Somali beef-and-rice stew last night that turned out pretty good; I'll bring over some and if you dig it I'll bring over more. :)
