Brudda mine, I miss you something fierce. What a place this is, though!! Disneyland's an hour away (and change, depending). AND OHMYGOD THE ART!! I was introduced to the work of a sculptor (formerly an illustrator from the 60s-80s of the Bernie Fuchs/Bob Peake/Skip Lipke/Dick Brown era) just yesterday. His name's Richard Macdonald. He's the dude who did the huge sculpture for the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta. AMAZING. And there's gonna be a Leyendecker show here in the OC later this month!!!

We gotta getchew down here one o' these days!

But hey, So Cal! I need a palm tree fix. Triple Digit Heat though. Oy!

Did I ever tell you that Juli and I made the hike out to Dungeness Lighthouse? You and I got to go out to the end of the spit. They've closed off the end now. There's about 25 feet more spit than when we were there.

Juli and I need to chase some lighthouses in So. Cal. someday. It's on our list of things to do.

The spit's gotten longer? Cool!! Except for the part where you can't go there. Bleah. But can you still get into the lighthouse itself?

I'd be interested in hearing about what lighthouses there are down here. And if you come down, by all means let me know!!
