RP History: Let's see, how to condense almost 1 1/2 years into a concise list... No promises that this is in exact order, but I'm trying.
•Enters World's End, has everything explained to him -> Reunites with his sister. Is told that he died before coming there by multiple people.
•He's murdered in the 21 Sacraments plot; Now has a rather unsightly scar across his chest over his heart
•Befriends Elle (Heroes)
•Alexia leaves; he becomes psychotic and begins to assume her personality; Moves in with Elle
•Attempts to kidnap and torture Claire Redfield, gets his nose broken for the effort
•Elle leaves
•He's mindlinked with Alex Shepherd (SH:H) and the two, despite their bickering, gain a sort of mutual understanding
•Imprisoned, reluctantly agrees to start gardening to regain his freedom. Keeps his nose relatively out of trouble.
•Gets two pets from a world hop; hesitantly cares for them.
•Associates with and moves in with Zant, the two work together until Zant leaves
•Alexia returns
•Dies again during an event.
•Gains T-Veronica infection from one of the Gods
•Slept with (and eventually got into an actual relationship with) his sister. Twice.
Game Specific Info
Why do you want to play this character here? It looks like an extremely interesting setting, different from others I've been in and admittedly when a certain someone shepherded me here my RP rut started to fade away.
Why do you believe this character fits into this game’s setting? He's psychotic. He's a complete sociopath with a host of mental and personality disorders, ranging from mostly harmless to purely murderous and sadistic. While he has mellowed out from his time in Trial, he's still mad and with the right influence his villainous ways will show themselves. He has experience in "survival" settings, albeit ones quite a bit different than the one in this game. That's probably a good thing anyway; He'll be enthused to have electricity and proper housing.
What are your plans for your character in this game? I've always wanted a chance to play Alfred as properly villainous. While I don't expect to jump and have him start building a Killhouse from the start, I do want to start experimenting with his sadistic tendencies. I want him to really start blossoming as a villain here and toy around with the freedom a more open environment affords him.
Writing Samples
Log/Third Person Sample: Alfred frowned as he examined his current situation. It was as if he was experiencing a horrid deja vu, like the gods were playing a wicked trick on him as they were wont to do. With a heavy sigh, he took a few steps forward down the street. Odd. No one from World's End seemed present, yet the city was bustling with life. He recalled the 'hop' to Manhattan, something that was a similar experience. Ah, that was what the deja vu was. The big cityscape, the crowds of people who acted as if you didn't exist. It made sense now. Still, something felt different. The noble patted himself down, calm at first before panicking.
The communicator. The communicator! It was nowhere to be found. He couldn't have lost it, he always kept it on him. Anxious, he stumbled to a more private area and began digging through his pockets. The only thing he could hear, above even the traffic and the passing conversations, was his heart racing. He was lost in some foreign city without his communicator. There was no way to find anyone, no contact with any of the people who could possibly have any idea what was going on. No way to contact Alexia.
His heart leapt. Alexia. If he was lost here, where was she? Where could she possibly be? He choked back a gasp and began searching more desperately, turning his pockets inside-out one by one before-THUNK! With little regard to anything else, Alfred practically dove to the ground and scooped the device up. He could relax now. He'd panicked for nothing. It was there all along.
Panting softly, the blond shuffled toward a street light as he tried to get his heart out of his throat. Everything would be fine now. He had his communicator, and... And...
His eyes widened as it dawned on him. This wasn't his communicator, and he wasn't in World's End any more.
Journal Entry/First Person Sample: [There's the sound of beeping as Alfred awkwardly tries to figure out how the Blackberry works. Faintly, grumbling can be heard in the background, going on about "useless" it is and how "pointless" the entire situation is. Eventually he grows confident that he's got it set up the way he wants and clears his throat. His tone is calm, but has an underlying sense of urgency]
What is this? Is this the god's work again? I can't believe...
[He pauses and sighs heavily]
No, no. It can't be... Well... It certainly could be, but this isn't their sort of game. This is something else entirely.
Not that it matters. All that matters is that I'm not in World's End any more, and I've been separated from Alexia.
Now, if anyone can hear me, I demand to know where I am this instant, as well as what's going on.
... And more importantly, where is my sister?
