Just got off the phone with my (ex-) boss. The Powers That Be here at Bell have decided that they don't need people with a specific healthcare focus, so they have split up our team and moved us all in to different areas of the company. Afraid not. All out of country travel has to be approved by a VP, and no one from our group was approved to go to HIMSS. That's also why I'll have to miss the IHE face-to-face.
