Yum! I made my own butter by accident, once. Whipped with a tiny bit of honey, it was swoonworthy.
This looks like a book to be watching for -- thanks for sharing!

Ha... I also bought that book a few months back.

I highly recommend butter from Labonte, an organic producer in Quebec. The butter had a flavour that had me spreading it thickly on the bread in a way only Homer Simpson would be proud. Had to ask the wait staff, exactly who made it and where I could find it. Not sure if you can find it in Toronto, but be on the look out. It is definitely worth it....
