I was always sad when I got a little figurine instead of something I could put 2gether myself. >:|

They should scrap this gendered idiocy and start a new line of Kinder Surprise for Ppl who Like to Assemble Things.

I need a thumbs-up for your comment. I hated the stuff where there's nothing to do. *sigh*

I really liked most of the toys I got from Kinder Egss. I really liked the stuff that had to be put together best.

What really bothers me is that it seems fashionable right now to make 'girlie' editions of things. It would be nice just once to see the original marketed as for everyone and an edition made especially for boys instead.

Why not just make a 'hard' and a 'fluffy' series of eggs? Why do the 'original' and the 'girly'? Same effect, less offense.

I liked a lot of the crappy stuff I got in Kinder eggs over the years. Cars, figurines, small puzzles. Didn't really matter.

At least they did answer... That whole story is just sad. I feel like there's been a renewed effort recently of toy producers to sell separate toys to girls and boys - LEGO did a "Lego for girls! With horses and flowers!" thing, too.

Oh and the other day I saw a type of cookies I hadn't seen before (I think they went on sale last summer, so no wonder I missed them so far). Bahlsen. Just called "Afrika". Of course they're dark and chocolate-y. Seriously...?
