So you should call me....my phone number's on my Facebook page. :) I don't have your number, or else I'd call you. :)

And I know all about being sad and not minding it. There's something comforting about being melancholy. As long as its just a period of melancholy, and not a year of melancholy. :)

Yeah, I've been there. I want my space, time in my own head, and I generally come to terms with whatever when it's time. I don't mind it at all. I tend to mind outside influences more than not, actually.

Cheers, babe.

haha, you use the word "funk" too...such a wonderful, euphemistic word!

anyway, i'm really bummed too...I mean, how could they re-elect Bush? I know it's been over a year, but I'm still feeling really, really awful about that. Talk about four years of depression!

(that's my attempt at indirectly cheering you up; kinda lame, i know--i'm tired)

have you seen this before? this might make you laugh? http://homepages.nyu.edu/~cbc261/Photos/penguin.wmv

what's a bffl? best friend (from) Florida, perhaps?

Sometimes "funks" are good, like a pinch to remind us we're still alive. anyway, i hope you feel better!

Oh, you Californians...

bffl= best friend... for life.

I feel you on the Bush thing... it's been a lovely 5 years, hasn't it?

Dammit, I was outta my funk; now I'm back into it.

Yeah, thanks Ohio. And the South.
